there was a kill swith button on the throttle that needs to be pushed in to start it try that
On the odometer, go to where it tells you OIL LIFE function... HOLD the button down for 10 seconds and it will start blinking at you. From there, you will hold the button down again for another 10 seconds and it will reset itself!
