Because anti semites are a bunch of dumb, jelous losers who will never succeed in wiping us out. They all fall, but we get stronger. That's what all us Jews, religious or secular, need to remember.

I wanted to leave the above answer up so as to have something to respond to, because one of the best ways to deal with racism in any form, imo, is to focus on what we all have in common and how people can be brought together no matter who we are, instead of focusing on what makes us different and keeps us apart.

All that we are doing by putting up walls and picking sides and using labels and such, is we're creating artificial barriers that only serve to reinforce the "anti" tendencies which are at the heart of this matter, and which do nobody any good either way.

People are people who need and want the same basic things out of life no matter where you go and no matter who you are in the world; you either need or want any of the following: food, shelter, air, water, companionship, happiness, freedom, comfort, love, etc. this much is true, whether you're a Jew or an anti-semite.

Peace is defined not as the absence of violence, but as something that has to be worked for and maintained and developed like any other venture, and the most effective methods to peace and understanding are living, healthy and organic processes which get people involved in constructive and creative venues and ventures together.

People think it's funny, but I see great value in events like candy expos that I see on TV, with so many people obviously enjoying themselves in putting their time and energy and focus into something as silly and enjoyable as the development and creation and promotion of candies and chocolates, day-in and day-out, year-after-year, season-by-season, etc. and by collectively investing their energies into pursuits like these and others(instead of into hating and fighting and killing), I find them to be a very real example of a natural, living, organic and healthy peace...but it has to be *worked towards*, like anything else worth having.

Individual anti-semitism, or racism in any form, is completely the choice of that individual alone, but collective anti-semitism or systematic racism, etc. can effectively be fought using these and other methods, imo.

Does Anti-Semitism refer to Jews?

Antisemitism as it is used in the English language today refers to discrimination against Jews. While Arabs (and certain others) are also Semitic peoples, the English term "antisemitism" was coined (around 1860) to refer to discrimination against Jews. Antisemitism was designed to sound much more scientific, and therefore more acceptable, than the common term for this hatred of Jews "Judenhass" (which literally means "Jew-hatred" in German).
