For series 02 (normal Gatorade) it's about 96 percent water and the rest is additives like sodium (AKA electrolytes), sugar, flavoring, color, etc.

electrolytes is why Gatorade is better than water for athletic people.

Gatorade is roughly 96 percent water, with additives like sodium (AKA electrolytes), sugar, flavoring, color, etc., but most of it is water. It is said that Gatorade is better for you than water because of the electrolytes in it, but really it is better because the added sodium makes you thirsty, so you drink more, and since it is almost all water, your just drinking more water than you would if the water was plain, rehydrating your body more efficiently.
