At our place they inhabit the flush toilets just under the rims, that is why I never use harsh chemicals. We also have them sitting just in the bath drain just under the plug hole. Such a treat for the Grandkids. We always know when the rains come their croaks reverberate right around the house.
Amphibians will survive a drought by burrowing into the mud. They must keep their bodies moist for survival, but have a remarkable ability to survive with only a little water available.
Most will just migrate to a new body of water, although some unique species like the water holding frog will bury itself in the ground and remain dormant until rainfall.
Amphibians have a wide range of methods to survive. Most important is their ability to survive drought.
the are amphibians which mean they can also breathe out of there lungs so droughts don't effect them
well technically they can't survive without water but CSIRO is developing a liquid that will survive in a drought
the honeybees would not give out honey and amphibians would not eat insects then we could not survive
A potato
not enough water means no plants. The plants need water to survive, just like we need water to survive. a drought would cause crop failure, and if it's a long term drought, animals could die.
They hibernate.
Amphibians live everywhere except in permanent deserts and the poles.
what variation would helpa land plant survive if long lasting droughts developed?
There is a lack of food and water would survive without food but we cannot survive without water
