I am not sure what kind of dog food you are feeding your dog, but if you check the label on any brand of canned dog food, there are huge quantities of nutritional supplements already added to the food. Normally, dogs would not require any additional supplements if they are eating canned dog food. Meat contains vitamin B12, so any normal carnivorous diet includes this vitamin.
