Actually, most humans are bisexual to some extent, even if we don't act on the impulse. Sex is about physical gratification and intimacy. We can get physical gratification any number of ways (although we all have preferences), but intimacy is trickier. It requires the ability to be vulnerable-- "to let your guard down" -- and strong at the same time. Most of us can only do that with a few people, and for guys it's almost always women.
