According to the United Kingdom's Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music instrumental exams, marks are distributed thus:
Maximum of:
30 marks per prepared piece
Three prepared pieces = maximum of 90 marks.
Scales and arpeggios = Maximum of 21 marks
Sight reading = Maximum of 21 marks
Aural tests = Maximum of 18 marks
Total of 150 marks.
