How many amendments in constitution of India?

The question is confusing because the word 'Amendment' itself means 'change'. The Founding Fathers ratified the Constitution then added in the original 10 amendments (I thought) everybody learned about in school--the Bill of Rights. Total, there are 27 Amendments to the US Constitution. There has been only one 'change' in the Amendments, and that involves the 18th and 21st Amendments. The first enacted Prohibition, the latter repealed it.

How many articles does the constitution have-?

There are seven Articles in the Constitution. The three parts of the Constitution include the Preamble, the Articles, and the Amendments.

How many articles are presently in the Indian constitution?

Why have there been so few amendments made to the Constitution?

Apparently, the process for amending the Constitution is deliberately tedious so that only the most important national issues will make it through, and the government will not be weakened by abrupt change and too much rule of the people. As a result, there have been few amendments in US history, and only one of them was repealed.

What are the differences and similarities of the constitution of the US and Florida?

The U.S. and Florida constitutions both have a preamble (an introduction that states the purpose and goals of government), articles (sections that describe the powers and functions of the government), and amendments (changes that have been made to the constitution).
