I think that yes, becuase osmosis is the diffusion of water across the cell membrane and diffusion is the movement of a substance from a area of its higher concentration to an area of its lower concentration so as diffusion is a movement and a osmosis a diffusion, osmosis can move nutrients.

if too much water concentration is around the cell, the cell swells up because it likes to have the same concentration as the outside by taking in water

if not enough water concentration is around the cell, the cell shrivels up because it likes to have the same concentration as the outside by getting rid ofwater

cells are affected by osmosis following things ;

if too much water concentration is around the cell, the cell swells up because it likes to have the same concentration as the outside by taking in water

if not enough water concentration is around the cell, the cell shrivels up because it likes to have the same concentration as the outside by getting rid of water
