A Trojan or virus often adds programming to an exe file which changes the way Windows works when it tries to use the file. Instead of using the proper file, Windows is directed to the Trojan or virus and does what that files orders it to do.
After a virus or Trojan is removed by an antivirus application, the damaged exe files will probably have to be replaced. For Excel and Word, for example, reinstall Microsoft Office.
The files created by Excel or Word should then work properly again.
It is always best to update your antivirus applications. Don't visit sites you don't trust. Join the Web of Trust, which will help you avoid virus and Trojan infected sites.

It can erase your hard drive! They can delete your files.
A Trojan horse virus occurs in infected documents, programs and executable files. They appear as something you would be familiar with so as to trick you into opening the file.
One note of correction: a Trojan or Trojan horse is "malware" not a "virus". A virus spreads independently while a Trojan requires you to intentionally install the software containing the hidden malware (the fact that the malware is hidden in an apparently legitimate piece of software is where it gets its name by analogy to the Trojan Horse of Greek Mythology). If you realize you have a Trojan on your computer, you should go to the store and buy an anti virus kit or packet and install it. Nearly all good anti-virus programs will detect and clean up Trojans. A couple of caveats are in order however. Sometimes a Trojan will corrupt files such that they cannot be recovered. All the anti-virus can do is remove the Trojan and sometimesrepair affected files. When repair fails, your only recourse is to restore the corrupted files from a backup or reinstall the software that the corrupted files were part of in order to get back the uncorrupted files. A few Trojans can also contain boot-sector malware or rootkits. These are a good deal more difficult to detect and remove.
a Trojan deletes your entire hard drive! be careful! ps: a weegee virus is a Trojan but can be stopped while it deletes your files!
Attach to emails files programmes etc
it goes through al your files, and shares it to the world.
'you need a Trojan horse to create a Trojan virus' LOL , Trojan Horse itself is a Virus !
There aren't types of Trojan Horse virus. A Trojan Horse is a type of virus.
If the virus are all in the virus vault, you are safe. i would recommend running a scan for more viruses. then if there aen't any you can safly remove the viruses. but before you do, make sure they didn't infect any important files.
Trojan is a kind of Malware. And Malwares are virus.
A Trojan horse propagates itself via network connections. Boot sector via files copied from disk to disk.
It's possible but you need WPE Pro but you can't download it because there is a Trojan Virus in all files and if that virus goes into your PC, it will destroy all of your files. So don't download it.
