∙ 12y agoThey both produce true seeds. Angiosperms ("vessel seed") have their seeds enclosed by ovary tissue (referred to as the fruit) while gymnosperms ("naked seed") are formed without ovary enclosure thus being described as naked, like pine seeds in a cone.
