Inside a microwave oven, microwaves are made when electricity passes through a device called
Magnetron.Magnetron uses a strong magnet. The electricity and the magnet make microwave electromagnetic.
Household microwaves contain permanent magnets, but I see no reason why an electromagnet would not work.
People do not have the physical organs to detect microwaves.
Magnetic freild
Magnetic reluctance is a concept used in the analysis of magnetic circuits. The term was coined in May 1888. There are several methods to determine the magnetic characteristics.
Magnetic field.
1. The orientation giving the maximum magnetic flux would be 90 degrees or perpendicular to the magnetic field because that gives the maximum amount of magnetic field lines able to pass through the area of the coil. The greater density of field lines gives a greater magnetic field. The orientation that would give a magnetic flux of zero is the plane of the coil to be parallel to the magnetic field, making no lines pass through the coil and thus no flux.
A cavity magnetron is used to produce microwaves in a microwave oven. (See related inks.)Though this involves a magnetic field and an oscillating electron beam, the electrons are not moving in a circle at the cyclotron resonance and this is not the basic mode of operation.
Microwaves do not litterally use magnets. they are an electro-magnetic frequency.or do you mean the applicance that cooks food?
No, Computers transmit microwaves and radio waves are entirley different on the electro magnetic spectrum
This is always being studied. For frequencies below microwaves there appear to be virtually zero effects.
i am not as sure to what a magnetic means but i do know a microwave has a magnetron and the way it heats food is by putting out microwaves that make the water molecules vibrate which warms the item because more moving molecules in an object means heat which makes the food hot
Microwaves are produced when?
Microwaves do not 'give off' radiation as such. Microwaves are radiation.
The main sources of microwaves are electronic devices called magnetrons or solid-state devices like klystrons or traveling wave tubes. These devices generate microwaves through the oscillation of electrons in a magnetic or electric field. Microwaves are also naturally produced by astronomical sources such as the Sun and other celestial bodies.
Microwaves
Fixed magnetic fields, such as the field around a piece of magnetic metal or around a planet such as the earth have no effect on what is called "electromagnetic" or "wave" radiation, which includes, radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light, x-rays, and gamma rays (named in order of increasing energy and frequency.)
