there are 4 screws that hold up a plastic trim plate that spans the width of the interior just below the light. remove screws, pull down and you have access.

hi, yes you will have to take out both of the two screws that hold the fuse in place. then put in the new fuse(should be a 100 amp fuse) and put in both screws. the fuse it self is pretty cheap to replace. i live in WI and it cost about $6 when i put a new alternator fuse in my '96 accent. hopefully this was helpful for you.

The blower motor resistor is located under the glove box. You can locate it by finding a 4 wire connector, directly below the glove box hinge (towards the front of the truck). There are 2 screws holding it in. A mirror is helpful in replacing this, but I managed to replace it without one. You will need a nut driver to remove the screws. My suggestion is to leave the wires connected to the resistor while removing the screws.

A magnet will pick up the iron screws but not the brass.
Tek screws are a name brand type of self drilling screws. They can also be called drill bit screws and self tapping screws. Phillips and other companies manufacture these as well.
