Melting Icecaps are where the polar bears used live. If they have to swim farther distances to get to a resting spot, then they are going to be more tired and will drownd because of exuastion

I'm not sure, but I think Alberta isn't cold enough for the polar bears. Also, there might not be enough ice caps in Alberta for the polar bears to live off of. People talk about how the polar bears are struggling to survive because global warming is melting all their ice caps. Many times, if there aren't enough ice caps, the bears can't find food or survive.

yes because they live on ice and now thay have to adapt to their fast changing surroundings which they are finding it hard to.
probably but this is not proven many ice caps are melting which means polar\ bears cannot find food thus diying of starvation. basicaly polar bears arent on the endagered list. There is no evidence that shows the polar ice caps are melting away any faster than is expected normally. In 1922, scientists predicted the calamity of melted ice caps and rising sea levels. Didn't happen then, and most likely won't now. Polar bears are adaptable creatures, and would adjust most likely.
