Viruses attach themselves to and then replicate inside of a cell in order to replicate itself. DNA viruses replicate in a cell's nucleus while RNA viruses generally replicate in the cell's cytoplasm.

viruses aren't alive. they're protein covered DNA molecules which have no nucleus. they do not reproduce, nor do they eat. viruses don't move, either. they sit around waiting to be found. once they are found, they wait until approached by a white blood cell. then, they inject themselves into the white blood cell. when a white blood cell reproduces via mitosis, it reproduces with the virus DNA code. --------------------------------------- Numerous corrections: -True: viruses aren't alive. They are not even cellular. -True: they are protein covered and have no nucleus. However they can also contain RNA genomes. -True: they do not do anything by themselves. However different types of viruses infect many different types of cells, from bacteria to human nerve cells. A virus that specifically infects human white blood cells (specifically CD4+ TH2 cells) is the HIV virus. -False: an infected cell does not need to divide for the virus to reproduce. A virus starts to reproduce directly after it enters a cells. It imemdiately hijacks the cell's machinery and starts to churn out virus particles. The virus particles then exit the infected cell either by bursting it or by wrapping themselves in the cell membranes of the infected cell to make them less detectable. (There are specific cases where the virus genome enters lysogeny, i.e. integrates itself into the genome of the host and becomes silent, and thus are copied into the daughter cells of the host. These integrated genomes eventually become excised and activated and starts the normal life cycle of a virus). The free virus particles then go on to infect more cells.

A virus, spreads through air and other fluids. They travel around until they meet a organism or human and enters the body. After it enters it finds a host cell and attaches to it taking the cells reproducing DNA and forming other viruses.

I hope this helps got a hundred on this topic!!

First, a virus cell gets into the body. It then latches on to a cell in your body and injects it with it's own virus genetic code. By doing this, it transforms the cell in your body to a virus producing factory. Eventually, there are so many virus cells in the Body cell that it can no longer contain it, so it bursts open, then, these numerous more virus cells go on to infecting more body cells, and so on, so fourth. Your only protection is your immune system.

Virus exist for the sole purpose of making more virus's! That's the 'reproductive function' of a virus.

How does virus survive and thrive?

Because they have mutated to be able to infect hosts that can be used for the energy and materials needed for the virus to be reproduced. They are constantly mutating, and that allows them to adjust to any changes in environment or hosts so that they can survive.

What happens to cells when virus enters it and how is the production of cancer cells being treated?

The invasion of virus began with the attachment of the virus on the targeted host cell. The virus will inject its genetic information ( either DNA or RNA, can not be both) into the cell, leaving its protein coat outside of the cell. The genetic information which is injected by the virus will take over the mechanism of the cell; the genetic material of the virus will direct the host cell to reproduce more virus and when the viruses is reproduced, it is released into the surrounding to infect other host cell. Production or the source of cancer cell is nothing related to the virus. The cancer cell is produced when there is extreme radiation, deaminating agent, base analog and acridine derivative which will affect the normal cell cycle and lead to uncontrollable cell division (mitosis) and because the cell produced has no function (it is not differentiated), it compete with other healthy, normal cell for space and food. A way to treat this cancer is to inhibit the cell cycle of the cancerous cell. One of the method is radiotherapy.
