Nuclear energy is actually a very good thing. The bad part about it is how to dispose of, or store the long-term radioactive waste it produces. Aside from that problem, it's about the cleanest form of energy known (wind and solar require large areas of land; so does most hydropower (for the lake formed behind the dam); just about everything else produces air pollution and/or greenhouse gases).
Nuclear energy is bad because if anything goes wrong while making it anything within 25 miles of the explosion is dead. Anyone within 50 miles is extremely deformed.
Nuclear energy is powerful, and not to mention that it is renewable. it's not a bad thing.
It's bad for all ages!
Mainly that no good solution has been found to dispose of the nuclear wastes.
Uranium is just like nuclear energy
some bad uses are nuclear bombs.
Actually it is good and bad. Nuclear energy can save many people lives but in can be used as nuclear weapons which are super dangerous. resulting in explosions.
Just like any other energy can be bad - fire can burn, electricity can shock... Nuclear energy can have harmful radiations that can damage without proper precautions. In addition, there are no very satisfying alternatives at present for disposing of nuclear waste, so proceeding with heavy nuclear energy development is a bet that the future will find good solutions.
If it is stored in the nucleus, it must be nuclear energy.
Nuclear Power is NOT NECESSARY. So many people die when there's a nuclear explosion. It is also really bad for the environment.
Energy. How we use it makes it a good thing or a bad thing.
Yes, nuclear energy is energy.
The nuclear energy first used was I suppose the A-Bomb dropped on Hiroshima, and it had a bad effect on the people who lived there.
