I've had my nose done, and now i have my tongue.
I say that the nose hurts more, but it depends on the people, but the tongue is one of the piercing that hurt less..
For the people that say the clamps are the worst, their wrong.
But trust me, it really doesn't hurt that bad. All you have to do is be careful, you have a hard time eating because your tongue is so swollen.
My nose hurt worse then my tongue. However, the first week of having your tongue pierced sucks!
Considering the lip and nose will be done with a piercing needle in a licensed and inspected facility by a trained and experienced professional body piercer, it should be no problem, just a mild pinch.
It means that the things a person says can get them in trouble/hurt.
Tongue piercings do not hurt much. Even a tongue web or double tonuge which seem to have a higher pain level, do not hurt too much. As ar as I 've experienced, an ear piercing hurts more than any other piercing. I am plannig to have a conch piercing and just read at site rightpiercing dot com that it hurts too much if I plan to have an inner and outer conch at the same time. Emily
I think that everyone is different when it comes to pain in piercings. I have 4 in one ear, 3 in another, my nose, my tongue, and my navel all pierced. For me getting the actual piercing done on my navel hurt the most, however my tongue hurt the most AFTER I had it pierced due to swelling. But I hear that the most painful are nipples or any kind of genitalia.
Your belly button has more nerves in it, so it will hurt more. I can't really say but I had my belly button done when i was 14(6years ago) and I was terrified but it didn't even hurt my mum friend had her nose done and said it hurt and was a lot like the top of your ear because its cartilage but is in a more sensitive area so I'm guessing your nose might hurt more but they are probably similar. Your belly button doesn't hurt because its just a flap of skin and heals really quickly. I've personally had both done, and the nose hurt a little more. I had my nose pierced with a gun and it just stung for a little while, just the same as the belly button. And the belly button takes longer to heal than the nose, the nose takes 2 weeks where as the belly button takes about months to a year. Don't get me wrong they both hurt a bit, but it feels similar to a shot. :) **from a personal view i thought that my belly button hurt worse, but my nose definitely made me curse out loud, so who is to say they both don't hurt equally from your view. I do know that my belly button is healing way faster than my nose did, I've had it pierced since Dec 09 and the tissue is still tender, I had issues with it ripping out in my sleep so ouch, but my belly button has been done no more than a week and even though it hurt worse I'm satisfied with my results, it looks and feels pretty great to me. It's only been two months since my nose piercing. Everybody's body is different though but I would NOT get any piercing other than my ears (and even that I don't recommend, read up on a gun vs a hollow needle) that's ridiculous. I would never recommend a gun for a nose eyebrow belly button etc piercing and I definitely would not let a shop pierce me like that!
Although the tongue is the major organ for detecting the flavors. You need both tongue and nose to taste and identify foods.
The eyes, nose, skin and tongue HAVE sensory receptors.
I don't think so but it just depends on your parents. I got my cartilage at 13 and nose done at 14 and my parents seemed fine with it. I am a girl and i know guys your age with their tongue done. Go for it!!

I got my cartilage pierced when I was 12. And it honestly did hurt a little bit. Compared getting your nose pierced it hurts 10 times worse. I got my nose pierced for my 16th birthday and it didn't hurt at all. All you feel when you get your nose pierced is some pressure.
