The A380 compared to the 747 is pretty bug, but it not as long as the 747, that's why the A380's have problems landing on some shorter runways.
A huge difference... First of all, the A380 is made by Airbus (European company) and the 747 is made by Boeing (US company) the a380 has 2 complete floors while the 747 has a floor and a half. On top of a 747 is a bump or a "bubble" which is the "half a floor." There is also a big difference in ranges, and technical stuff I don't really know, but you can find that out on the internet.
The Boeing 747 is a plane used for crossing oceans. It is a double decked plane though not as big as the new Airbus A 380.
a big one
Boeing of USA and Airbus of Europe Makes such planes and sell to all world airline companies. There are other aircraft companies who makes commercial planes but not as big as 747 or 737.

777 is bigger than a 737. from smallest to largest 737, 757, 767, 777, 747 It goes like this (from small to big) 737, 757, 787, 767, 747, 777
yes. both the 747 and the a380(all variants for both), hold more than 350. maybe others but not sure.
Only if Squawk 7700 in an emergency. B763 (Boeing 767-300) is largest to land at EDI as schedule
Wing span = 211 ft 5 in. (64.4m) Length = 231 ft 10 in. (70.6m). Tail height = 63 ft 8 in. (19.4m)
a boeing 747, just like other planes and big "objects" are very heavy. and stopping them is very difficult, the planes tires would explode due to the speed of rotation, and the breaks would not be effective. besides the stopping distance of a 747 landing at 500mph is HUGE, no airstrip in the world an accommodate it
Over the past years the volumes of air freighters have greatly increased. While the first freighters were about 150må_-200må_ big. In 1971 the Boeing 747-200F had 705må_! Freighters this age are about 500å_-700må_ big.
