As long as they can make it, but there's no standard. Example: Pope AFB, NC, has two runways: one is 3000 feet long, the other 7501. They're restricted by two factors: the city of Spring Lake at one end, Fort Bragg's rifle ranges at the other. Fairchild AFB, WA, has one 13,899-foot runway--it was a B-52 base and it's far enough from any city that they had room to build. Langley AFB, VA, one 10,000-foot runway.
really depends but its pretty long about the same size as an airport runway just slightly bigger for bigger aircrafts like c-130's and AC-130s and other planes and vehicles
