if you meant the model itself than it has a medium base and is about the size of a tau crisis battlesuit. If you meant if it where real than quite big.
Very large. They also vary in size because they are bio-morphed. I would estimate an average Hive tyrant to be 35 to 40 feet tall
Like most new tyranids there is no official model but you can make one: Buy and make a normal hive tyrant without the arms. Then (off eBay from other players or however you can get your hands on them) get four boneswords and use those for arms, find yourself a second hive tyrant tail and cut it so you can glue it halfway down the original tail then get yourself a spike (the hive tyrant comes with one) and glue it behind the first on the head.
No.
yes the hive tyrant is a metal model but it also has plastic weapons (arms)
They will fall to suppression rules from the strangler but a large unit. Say the Hive Tyrant is a large creature, so it cannot be suppressed. You also have to take a roll for the pinning rule, if this still is in effect im not sure. So check your codex for that. Good luck and happy swarming :)
It's 1250 points according to the newest Apocalypse book.
The tyranid Biovore is a matal model, hope it comes in finecast :)
Probably the Trygon/Mawloc, these tower above any other Tyranid in your army.
The answer to your question is the phrase,"A small bee in a big hive."
A tyranid is from the video game Warhammer 40,000. They are fictional. They are known as tyranids because the first planet they took over was called Tyran.
Answer"The Tyranids are an extragalactic alien race, whose sole purpose is the consumption of all forms of genetic and biological material in order to evolve and reproduce. Tyranid technology is based entirely on biological engineering. Every function is carried out by living, engineered creatures, each of which collectively forms the Hive Fleet, directed by a single Hive Mind" --- quote from: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Tyranids
A bee hive looks like a big nasty oddly shaped ball of brown and gray paper mache with several entrance/exit holes for the bees. Also another factor to the bee hive appearance is that it is in a tree and there are tons of BEES flying around it.
A small bee in a big hive.(The letters of "hive" are capitalized or big whilst the letter 'b' is in lowercase or small)
