The fuel capacity of the 1990 Winnebago Chieftain is dependent on the chassis model. The capacity for the Chevrolet chassis is 78 gallons. The capacity for the Ford chassis is 75 gallons.
what would be the size of the fuel tank on a 1990 winnebago chieftan
From the 1987 model year through the end of production in the 1990 model all engines were fuel injected.
I believe that depends on the model. Which engine is yours?
In order to know the fuel tank size, I would need to know the size of the camper, the make of chassis and the engine size. Each of those factors determined the size of the gas tank installed by Winnebago.
The original fuel injectors on that model were recalled - did you ever have them replaced?
No , I believe 1987 was the first year of fuel injection on the 4.9 L straight 6 cylinder
The fuel to oil ratio for the 1987 model, 4 hp Force outboard would be 50:1, or roughly, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
In late 1987 chevy went to fuel injection on ALL there engines. From 1987 down will have a carburetor.
The 1987 model, 25 hp Johnson outboard requires a 50:1 ratio. One pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
The 1987 model, 9.9 hp Mariner outboard requires a 50:1 ratio, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
I am not quite sure how to answer this question........Maybe you meant a 1983 model?... Ford changed to fuel injection in the late 1987 model's. Early 1987 was the last of the carb's. And this is port injection, and not throttle body.
