One of ours is 12 lbs. Most of the rest are 8-10 lbs
The mallard ducklings are probably not pure mallard ducklings. The female mallard probably mated with a pekin duck, which are the big white ducks, Pekins are yellow as ducklings.
You shouldn't be big at all. At five weeks pregnant you have just developed an embryo. An ultrasound typically will not even be able to detect a heartbeat yet.
As big as this girl i know...her name is LEDA and she is a BEAST!!! at least 300 pounds!
no it just means the baby is big--if you are diabetic, you are more likely to have a big baby. don't worry Joymaker rn
Im no too sure but if you know somebody who is abusing an innocent little animal TELL SOMEONE IMMEDIATELY! He/she could end up killing the ducklings, it doesnt matter how big or small the abuse is TELL SOMEBODY
nothing every child grows at a different rate at a different time no worries with in a week is not a big deal
Wild ducklings eat mostly insects, algae and grain. Soggy bread and crackers aren't healthy for them. They will also like finely chopped strawberries and apple or romaine lettuce. Make sure it's small enough for them to swallow. You can also buy chick or duck starter (non-medicated) or duck feed pellets that are small enough for them to eat.
I think for big cat week they spend 5 weeks in the Mara, but when it was big cat diary i think it was 16 weeks at a time.
the same predators of any other duck breed for babies you have to worry about hawks, raccoons, opossums, snakes, dogs, and cats and for adults Coyotes, dogs, bobcats, wolves, panthers, Tasmanian devil, mountain lions, cougars, foxes, and and large cats like Debbie (my big cat!) The reason I didn't put all of these animals on the duckling list is a duckling should be kept inside and be taken out daily IF NOT RAINING! and should run around NOTE: never leave your ducklings outside alone for very long or the lists of animals could get them and you can let your ducklings (if you have some) out to roam at about 4 weeks. Sorry for all of the useless info I just want you if you have ducklings to be safe and keep everyone that had ducks safe once again sorry for all of the useless info.
its a baby.
I would say a pound or some where really close i am 22 weeks now and My baby weighs 1 pound 3 ounces but he is pretty big lol
A mother duck takes care of her ducklings pretty much the way a mom takes care of her children. But unlike human moms, duck moms don't have to teach their ducklings how to eat, or to swim, or to preen, they are born knowing how to do that from birth. She does however, have to keep a very, very good eye on them. Ducklings are tremendously curious and get lost easily in a big pond. I have seen mother ducks search for their lost child and then scold, yes scold, them quite angrily to stay with the brood.
