I need more details for your question. I will assume that you have door sag..Do you have door sag? If you do, you need new door pins... This is not an easy job you will need a hoist to hold the door while you are working on it. Or if you can find a freakishly strong friend to hold the door for you then that will work to.
It is the same for the 2 door and the 4 door. Your best bet is try Ebay or a salvage yard. I bought one for my 99 on Ebay for about $50.
There isn't a rear heater core in a regular sized tahoe. Only rear ones in Yukon xl and suburban. Tahoes have one in the front passenger side.
with your ebrake cable.
how do you get the door open
6.5 front 6x9 rear
My 97 Tahoe was leaking coolant and I couldn't find anything on the driveway or anywhere else. I took it to my mechanic and it was a rear manifold gasket leak, cost me about 500 dollars.
Yes, the only thing you need to worry about is the brake drum size, the 2 door tahoe uses a smaller size drum than the 4 door and depending on the options on the pickup it could have either size. Either way the axle will directly bolt in. One other thing to consider, if you Tahoe is a 4 door the pickup axle will not have the plate to bolt on the stabilizer bar, you can easily add the plate on or just leave the bar off.
in a Chiltons or Haynes manual or at a Dealer parts department
You need pictures to show you how. Get a manual on your car from DISCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM
No it will not. The 96 and 97 transmission bellhousings are different.
I am only aware of 3 in b.c. One 97 & two 96's
Ihad the same problem on my 1997 Tahoe last year and i just replaced the brakes and also the springs and the piece that pushes the pads out (i forgot the name of that part)
