Yes, the only thing you need to worry about is the brake drum size, the 2 door tahoe uses a smaller size drum than the 4 door and depending on the options on the pickup it could have either size.
Either way the axle will directly bolt in. One other thing to consider, if you Tahoe is a 4 door the pickup axle will not have the plate to bolt on the stabilizer bar, you can easily add the plate on or just leave the bar off.
My son's 1999 Chevy Tahoe is having a replacement rear-end put in this week. $1100.
You can refer to your user manual to ID the rear end gear ration in 80 Chevy pickup.
If you look at the rear end where the drivershaft bolts to it you will find the plug screewed into the rear end in that area.
On a 94 4X4 you can see it looking under the passenger front wheel well at the lower rear end of the engine.
Quit doing burnouts! go to Randy's ring and pinion and by an Eaton rear end there indestructible

Yes they are the same chassis from 1993 to 1999
It depends on the gear ratio of the rear ends. You can find this out in the glove compartment of your truck. It should tell you there. Hope this helps you out.
