Really, the basic point is that you've gotta just get out there and do it. If you're shy forever, nothing's ever going to happen between you guys, right? You have to take the initative, and i know it sounds intimating, since you sound like how i am around my crush, but if you want something done you have to do it yourself. i don't mean for this to sound mean, but he's probably not as conscious about you as you may think lol. people are always afraid they'll say or do something wrong, when in reality the person we like looks at us like an ordinary person. how do you look at ordinary people? are you extremely judgmental, judging them on every single tiny thing they do or say? most people, no. just be yourself, and if he's for you, then he'll like you for you. you've just gotta try and get out there. yes, you should talk to him when no one's around so no one will influence him and/or just on the internet, but DO NOT confess/ask him out over the internet; it's just not the same as feeling the emotions put out when you tell him/ask him in person.
