At our current understanding of psychology and biochemistry we can't.

Even if we one day would be able to, I'm not at all certain it'd be worth doing.

About the only thing that can be done today - if considered worth doing - is repressing homosexual acts.

if you don't do anything sexual, you won't be doing anything homosexual either.

However, if that was a serious question, then it is nothing short of a scandal. Why would you avoid homosexuality ? It's not something to be ashamed of, let alone avoided. Don't believe what Fox says about homosexuality. It's a perfectly natural and healthy (physically and mentally) sexual orientation.
you can't, people are born homosexuals, thus if you're one you can't avoid it, if you're not you still can't avoid it, the gays are every where and they look just like normal people! you could be sitting next to one right now!

No, unfortunately, you can't. Sexual orientation is natural, and the majority of people in society have now come to realize that. If you are still fighting gay people, you're on the losing side.
