Changing the format to JPEG should cure the problem. Most likely your original photo will already be in .jpg format. In the photo management software, free ones or even the ones built in the operating system of the computer you can do few things to reduce file size of the photo. You can either resize the image or use more compression. Resize will reduce size of the image (number of pixels will reduce) and compression will reduce overall quality of the image. When you use save as .jpg most software will allow you to select the compression level you want to save the image with. - Neeraj Sharma

∙ 15y agoRight click on the photo -> Click Edit -> The photo opens in MS paint Click on Image on top of the screen --> Click on Stretch/Skew button. The moment the option opens you'll see under Stretch Horizontal 100%, Vertical 100%. change them to 50% and save as JPEG. The size of the file will fall to KB's. Thanks, Adamas

Actually continued question...not answer: The reason I ask is that my IT department has asked us to make our files smaller and I don't know what size file was sending before. There are 15 guys like me around the nation and we have collectively shut down our billables due to file size. It really depends on how long the song is, and the size of the file. The average song (3 minutes long) is about 3 megabytes, therefore 1000 songs would be 3 gigabytes, but it all depends on the size of the file. But I'd say on average a megabytes a minute. An easy way to figure it out is to look at the size of your songs, make an average size, and really if its a thousand songs, you can just change the megabytes at the end to gigabytes.
