If you're parking the Escape on a hill it is possible the tubes that normally drain excess water is not working properly. It is also possible that the drainage tubes are clogged. I would recomment bringing it to a a dealer and ensure that the tubes are working properly as well as to check for damages or minor breaks in the seal. The alternative could turn out to be quite costly if it damages any of the electrical compents inside the car.
If it's leaking the moonroof drains near the front are plugged.
absolutely idiot
When the current one is leaking or plugged.
It is important to replace a leaking or plugged heater core ASAP Leaking will smell sweet and plugged will have no heat. Either way it needs replacement NOT FUN
Heater core leaking? Windshield seal leaking? Door seal leaking? Evaporator drain plugged?
Having plugged ears should not cause any of these problems. If you are having these problems, it is most likely the cause of your plugged ears and you should advice from a physician.
heater core possibly plugged and leaking
Plugged A/C condenser drain line if it is plain water. If it is coolant, then the heater core is leaking. Another possibility is a leaking windshield.
If it's leaking clear water, probably a bad door seal or a plugged cowl drain or a plugged AC evaporator condensation drain. orIf it's leaking engine coolant, probably a bad heater core.
You could have a seal leaking around a door or if you have a sunroof the drain holes might be plugged. Most cases of water leaking into the floorboard would be a plugged ac drain in the evaporater case. If you notice on a hot summer day and your ac is on that if you leave it parked, you will see water on the ground. This is from water draining out of the case, but if the drain becomes plugged it will build up in the case and slosh around and sometimes come into the floorboard.
2 possibilities.....1 your ac evaporator drain is plugged and needs to be cleaned out. 2 if it is coolant your heater core his leaking.
Could be that your heater core is leaking May also have a plugged evaporator hole.
