How can I understand the feelings of my good friend for me if he likes to make out with me and tells me he really cares for me. Now we are far away and he doesnt really contact me?

First of all ask yourself if the way you guys have been "together"is good enough for you. Once you better understand what you're looking in a guy or in this guy, simply tell him. Just for example you can say: You seem to want to be with me when you're around but once we're apart I feel totally dismissed by you, totally forgotten... Then wait for his reaction, if he really cares about you he'll try to work things out with you. When a guy founds a girl not only physically but most importantly emotionally/personality attractive things should work out if both put their part.
