The essence to the answer of this question is if you mean pain or suffering. If you mean pain we can say most Buddhists feel pain like anyone else; for example if I hit my nail with a hammer. However suffering is quite a different matter. To remove the suffering of attachment or aversion is in a sense the goal of Buddhism. Moving to its conclusion even the aversion to pain can removed so that this is experienced in quite a different way.
