Call shelters in the area which you think that person may be, they sometimes can help you by saying they are there or they have been there,If that person is there you can have them give them a message.
Go sit in a park and talk to the homeless. After an hour or so, chances are that someone (who is homeless) that you talk to will know the person that you are looking for- they'll give you an idea where that person will be.

∙ 10y agoA homeless person can receive help by finding a newspaper and/or contacting their local police department and finding homeless shelters. There they can stay out of the cold and find more information to get help.

∙ 12y ago- People who live in shelters are nomadic in nature and may roam from town to town and shelter to shelter. If you know the person living in shelters is in one area of your town then take a picture of that person and ask around at the shelters.

What does it mean if you are Intentionally homeless?
When a Council receives a homeless application they need to assess if the person's actions claiming homlessness are intentional or unintentional. If the Council belives your actions intentionally lead to you being homeless they have no legal requirement to help house you. Where as if your classed as unintentionally homeless then you are entitled to receive there help with housing. To give you a quick example if you decided to leave an accommodation whether rented or owned for no specific reason and asked for help with housing this would be classed as housing. If you're evicted or your home is repossessed this could possibly be classed as unintentional. I can't emphasize how important it is to get your facts checked or this before logging an application as if the Council don't need to help you you're left with no accommodation.
