Be careful not to drop any bolts, not to break off the injector connectors, they break easily. 3. Remove the injector clips on the outside of the head, inboard towards the turbo. 4. unbolt the injector 5. Use an injector puller so that you dont damage the injector, or injector bore.

you must remove the throttle body, remove the seal and harness grommet, then the injector cover. then with the throttle valve held open tap the injector with a hollow bar being careful not to damage it. remove o rings and disconnect from wiring harness.. when reinstalling remember to coat the new o rings with silicone
You can remove the injector, on your C 12 Caterpillar diesel engine, by removing the injector rail. Remove the retaining nut and the injector will come out.
