Farming
(1) Due to population growth farmers must plough large areas of the savanna which can cause monoculture crop production this is not sustainable because it doesn't maintain biodiversity. Indigenous people often farm nomadically this can be beneficial to the environment because the vegetation can be allowed to recover. In times of serious drought desertification can occur, this can also occur when overgrazing happens, this is when too many animals are grazing in one place. To protect the cattle predatory wild animals are killed. (1) the map shows how desertification is spreading through Africa. To prevent things like this farming is no longer allowed in the parks.
elephants for teeth and some plants for some farming
One example of environmental damage found in the savanna biome is grazing. Deforestation and climate change are also two reasons there may be environmental damage in the savanna.

One of the environmental damages in the Savanna biome is grazing. Other damages include the growth of exotic plants and climate change.
Due to the act of industrialization of our World-the biosphere, savanna is a potential terrestrial large area that is liable to be industrialized and population also required shelter and housing of which savanna is prone to its utility those areas. However, farming has been done by human and savanna has been the suitable place for that. these are only few points illustrating how savanna have changed by people.
The damage is the grasslands are being overgrazed, and become deserts. Some solutions are to preserve the savannas, control overgrazing, and have people make sure that they do not destroy the savannas.
