What problems arise due to rapid population growth?

globalisation, global warming.

A. burning fossil fuels b. deforestation c. respiration d. population growth Which of them is not a man-made cause of global warming?

Respiration is part of the carbon cycle and does not affect global warming.

What are some of the effects population growth can have on the environment?

Global warming, Deforestation and Decreasing Biodiversity, etc.

How will global warming affect the population increase?

We would anticipate that as sea levels rise and inundate populated coastal areas, this would slow population growth. In general, it is population growth that affects global warming, rather than the other way around. As the population grows, all these people contribute to energy consumption, a large portion of which is currently provided by fossil fuels. The liberation of carbon from fossil fuel increases the atmospheric concentrations of heat trapping CO2, which in turn spurs more warming.

How might rainfall effected by global warming and why?

-More rain, followed by longer and drier droughts, which will challenge the growth of crops.

What envirommental problems have resulted from economic growth?

Air pollution, Acid rain, Global Warming, the weakening of Ozone layer day by day have resulted from economic growth.

How does population growth impact global warming?

it impact by the pollution that is burning cars buses may affect population and they might die ..

When is global warming ever going to stop?

No one can say for sure, because the earth goes through temperature cycles, varying in duration. The science of this is still unsettled, and with the drastic growth of ice in Antarctica throws more doubt on the theory of Global Warming.

How is global warming affecting the future of the emperor penguin in Antarctica?

Global warming is slowing the growth of krill, the basic element of the Antarctic food chain. Fish feed on krill and the Emperor Penguin eats fish and krill. The future of all penguins is uncertain.

What is a formal essay on global warming?

Global Warming is an increase in the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere, especially a sustained increase sufficient to cause climatic change. For more informtaion visit the link below "Global Warming" Humans are to blame for global warming. They have contributed in many different ways such as burning fossil fuels like natural gas, coal and oil making CO2. Deforestation; taking trees and cutting them down. Also population growth is affecting it too. Burning natural gas, coal and oil is producing masses of non-used CO2. This is resulting in the melting of the arctic ice and leaving polar bears and other arctic animals without a home. For example the glacier national park, in Montana, now has only 27 glaciers, compared with 150 in 1910 that is not very many. Carbon dioxide (CO2) heats the air and the water causing the earth to heat up and resulting in melting the arctic ice. Some scientists believe that the ocean warming is resulting in increased CO2 and not the other way around. This theory is based on the idea that there is CO2 trapped in the ocean and as the temperature rises and the water evaporates the CO2 is released therefore causing the melting of the icebergs. Deforestation is affecting global warming because trees breathe out O2 (oxygen) and breath in CO2 (carbon dioxide). So if there is a shortage of trees that are not going to breathe in our CO2 then were stuck with more carbon dioxide in our atmosphere resulting in the air warming up because of the overload of CO2. Leading scientists think that we are contributing to global warming by deforesting areas of our earth which is not only killing innocent animals but can and probably will kill us if we keep polluting. Population growth is also affecting global warming in a bad way. More people means more cars, more cars means more fossil fuels burnt, more fossil fuels burnt means more pollution which pollution contains many greenhouse gases such as hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs ), per fluorocarbons (PFCs )and sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) which are results exclusively from human industrial processes. Leading scientists believe that we are contributing to global warming in a big percentage by reproducing To sum up we are causing global warming in a bad way by burning natural gas, coal and oil concluding in heating up the water and melting the icebergs. Deforestation means less oxygen and more carbon dioxide. While population growth is affecting it by manufacturing more cars and factories. Leading scientists believe that we are the cause of global warming. Do you?

What is the difference between global warming and tornadoes?

Globalization is just growth on a worldwide scale, while global warming on the other hand is the overall warming of the globe. Due mainly to greenhouse gasses and the greenhouse effect, which is where carbon dioxide and pollution released into the air contributes to the atmosphere, thickening it which traps heat in the earth.

What are those environmental issues?

Enviornmental issues are the issues or bad effects that arise out of human activities on the environment. The main environmental issues of the present days are the global warming and the felling down of trees. This is affecting us adversely and we must take necessary and immediate steps to stop it.
