I spent ages trying to get rid of Yahoo search. Every time I deleted it, it came back. Immediately. However the problem disappeared as soon as I uninstalled the free version of Iobit's Advanced System Care.
you can't do it if you delete your account then no more email address
You can delete the cookie, and history page from your PC but your questions and answers remain on the site. Your name will remain active if you want to come back.
Check to see if you have Freeze.com net assistant or some other piece of "crap" courtesy of Yahoo. Click tools, add-ons, and then look under extensions. Disable it. This fixed a problem on a client's machine. But beware there will be others that you can inadvertently "acquire" that may have different names. This should "kick" the issue (and save a kick for Yahoo...I personally consider it a virus).

I presume that you mean the Search History on the Safari Browser? Follow these steps: 1. Go into "Settings" 2. Then go into the menu "Safari" Here it depends on what you use, in your Search Engine. If you use Google, then switch to Yahoo. If you use Yahoo, then switch to Google. 3. Then you clear History, Clear Cookies and Clear Cache. 4. Then switch back to your preferred Search Engine, and your Search History is cleared :o)
You do not want to get rid of fast browser search. It can be however got rid with weak internet connection.
If you don't like what's on TV, change the channel or turn it off. A metaphor. Simply stated, if you dislike a web page, don't open it.
You can always change your homepage from Chrome settings. Set it to Google as the default page on Chrome.
They can both give good answers, although i tend to prefer google. Yahoo is better for questions and google is better for research and pretty much anything although it won't always respond well to a question typed in. For better results on google you should try to use the - sign to get rid of something that keeps coming up or putting phrases in quotes.
You can always get rid of your home page in settings bar. You can always set it to blank in Chrome.
