As of now, there is no universal "cure" for paralysis. If a person is paralyzed due to an injury of the spinal cord, it is unlikely they will be able to recover enough function to walk on their own again. This is because the nerves which relay messages between the brain and body are severed, and therefore the body is unable to receive motor messages from the brain.
At this point, many different technologies are being developed, from stem cell therapies to actual exoskeleton suits that allow paras with arm function to walk upright. It will be many years before we can definitively answer the question if paralysis can be cured or not.
There are many ways of treating paralysis. Drug therapy is not very satisfactory. Therefore, physiotherapy plays a very important role.
However, Vibrating Finger Therapy, based on Vedic meditation has many advantages over other methods of therapy.
However, the peripheral nerve supply to the muscle should be intact.
CAUSE OF PARALYSIS:
Paralysis of muscle is usually due to damage to the Precentral gyrus of the cerebrum of the brain. The damage is irreversible because central nervous system can't regenerate.
Fortunately, the paralysis can be treated without reversing the damage to the precentral gyrus.
PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATING FINGER THERAPY:
It is a well known fact that muscle tone can be transferred from one person to another. Thus, if some one places his hand on our shoulder, we may get a pleasant or threatening feeling.
However, this method can't be used to treat paralysis of a muscle because the latent period of a paralyzed muscle would have increased so much that it would be responsive for just a fraction of a second, that too once in many seconds. Thus, it needs a method in much a signal can be made to arrive at that very moment. Moreover, the signal must be strong.
SKELETAL MUSCLE CONTROL BY THE MASTER OF VEDIC MEDITATION:
1. A master of Vedic meditation can make all the skeletal muscles of his body act isometrically (harden and soften) as a single unit, which is known in Hinduism as Purusha. We can call it as Unified Skeletal Muscle, USM.
2. He can control the magnitude of contraction of the USM.
3. By default the muscle tone is 50%. He can make it 100% or 0%. Thus, he can generate positive signals to treat flaccid paralysis and negative signals to treat spastic paralysis.
4. He can make the USM contract towards any point, in this case the finger tips.
5. Using the muscles in the neck viz. Thyrohyoid, he can make it contract at any frequency, up to thousands of times a second.
Thus, he has a signal, which he can send into a muscle and alter its tone permanently. It may take a few days and in very old cases even months.
ADVANTAGES OF VIBRATING FINGER THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF PARALYSIS:
1. Absolutely safe.
2. Absolutely reliable
3. Cheap
4. Can be used to treat individual muscles
5. Can be used to treat both spastic and flaccid paralysis
6. Can used to treat paralysis of any duration, even childhood paralysis
6. Individual muscles can be manipulated.
7. Muscle tone can be very precisely manipulated, the way guitar strings are tuned.
8. Even deep muscles can be manipulated.
Paresis is another word for paralysis. It is, however, a slight paralysis. It is usually caused by syphilis and therefore can be treated with antibiotics. Paresis mostly occurs in men between the ages of 35 and 50.
Lyme Disease affects every system of the human body. There can be severe problems that can occur if Lyme Disease is not treated. One of the worse outcomes of untreated Lyme Disease is paralysis.
Of or pertaining to paralysis; resembling paralysis., Affected with paralysis, or palsy., Inclined or tending to paralysis., A person affected with paralysis.
Gillian beret disease is an illness caused by infection and causes paralysis. However, if treated early it can be controlled. Sadly there is no vaccine for it.
