Religion can affect people in various ways, I'm 16 and I can say that religion has affected me deeply, many people need a better understanding of life and religion can give them that! The bible says that god is your partner and if you give yourself to him you will become one with him. That can change peoples lives entirely because some people just have not had the love they need in life from the people who surround them so the search other places but the fact is that god can give you the love that nobody else in the world can so it helps them!!!
Its because if they are surrounded by religion when they are born they do not consider thinking about what they have been conditioned to do is not true or wrong. it affects peoples lives by having to live by those codes or morals and rules of that religion. it is implanted in there brain that that religion is how they think how they act how they choose.
Well personally I don't like the whole belief factor. I think that belief in anything from religion to government makes you blind. Besides most religions didn't actually begin with the dawn of man like Christianity didn't begin until the Bubonic Plague hit Europe. As long as you are able to think for yourself and not follow blindly like most religions want you to do or people simply do on their own you should be okay.

Every society has laws (legal) that coincide with religious or moral laws. Sometimes religious/moral laws seem or become outdated, just like some of a society's "legal" laws. When ideologies change between legal and moral issues, it often results in clashes between groups of people.
Here are just some ways the religious beliefs affect daily life:

As an Italian myself, I can assure you that religion played a role in his life, and Lucky Luciano was probably baptised catholic. Beyond that, the oath you take upon being a 'made man', and the life you live as someone who would murder at the drop of a hat, tell me that religion didnt heavily influence his life.
