If they are your friend but you are little apprehensive where their feelings are in concerns of you and at times it seems they are not too interested or care much about what you have to say or your issues then maybe they are not a close of friend as you may have perceived and possibly can be chalked up to an acquaintance that you can have a coffee/tea with instead of indepth conversations.
