Compared to most other programming languages ( C++ in particular ) Visual basic is a VERY user friendly and easy to use OOP ( object oriented programming ) language. It creates a form FOR you , you design your form with buttons , pictures , text boxes (etc) and write code for what you want them to do , when a particular thing happens to them. Eg You want a message box to appear when a button is clicked, double click the button and at the top there will be things saying " Onclick " "OnDblClick" If you choose on click , a coding box will appear and all you have to type is msgbox("Message"!) I assure you this would take 50+ lines of C++ code ( Including the form and button ) to do ! And it only took you 1 !

Can a worker in his sixties be expected to produce the same amount of a younger worker?

Obviously that depends on the type of work being performed. In the case of a physical labor job, it may not be about expectations, per se, rather that someone in his sixties simply isn't as good of a candidate for the job as someone in their twenties. In a professional legal, engineering, or programming office environment, the worker in his sixties may actually be expected to produce *more* because he's been doing it far longer.

Why did the director of the film The Miracle Worker produce it in Black and White?

The director, Arthur Penn, chose to film "The Miracle Worker" in black and white to create a more stark and dramatic visual style that would enhance the emotional intensity of the story. The lack of color also helped to emphasize the contrast between darkness and light, reflecting the themes of Helen Keller's journey from isolation to understanding.
