Premier Answerer

These dedicated contributors - recommended by Supervisors for their outstanding and consistent posts - spend the bulk of their time researching and answering questions. Typically, they are experts in a certain field or on a particular topic, and they possess the knowledge to answer complex or detailed questions.

It requires good, well-written answers that have the proper grammar, spelling, etc., and that are correct; a simple "Yes" or "No" answer will not qualify. From there, possible nominations are discussed by the Supervisors and a decision is made.

To become a Premier Answerer, first you must answer numerous questions in great detail and accuracy, and do it often.

Then, it's a waiting game. You must be noticed by a supervisor, and if the supervisor sees fit, will recommend you to become a Premier Answerer. Your contributions will then be reviewed by a panel.

(Note: A Supervisor cannot become a Premier Answerer because the Premier Answerer badge is a regular contributor badge, not a Supervisor-applicable badge. However Premier Answerers may become Supervisors, although their Premier Answerer status will be removed.)
