Depending on where you live and what type of crane you want to operate.
There are:
Rough Terrain cranes (Stiff boom cranes on off-road type chassis)
Boom Truck or hydraulic telescoping boom cranes (most common)
Lattice boom cranes
Tower cranes
Luffing cranes
Knuckle boom cranes
Etc.
So...depending on what you want to learn to operate, all the above require some form of training so all you need to do is Google the type, find dealers and give them a call, many if not all will be happy to help you out.

I'm not sure how it works in PA, but in NY all you have to do is fill out a renewal form for crane operator certification. Check with your local department of labor. A crane operator certification renewal is the same in New Jersey. Just check with the department of labor.
