Use axle stands for safety. Jack up both rear sides of car, remove rear wheels. Use another jack under individual How_do_you_remove_rear_spring_to_put_new_one_on_daewoo_lanos, remove single bolt at bottom of shock absorber, lower jack under wheel, this will allow shocker to disconnect, press down on hub, spring can be removed by hand, replace spring and do same for other side. Both can be done at once if you have enough jacks or axle stands.

On 01 Daewoo lanos 1.6l USA, the crankshaft position sensor it location on passenger side under car to the rear of a round gear called the crankshaft.it will be very close to this gear but will not be touch it as it uses the "Hall Effect" to detect the position of the crankshaft. This sensor should be location in the same location of all year models of lanos 99-02

The manual covers the 1.3 & 1.5 SOHC and 1.6L DOHC. It has all necessary info. The info you are looking for is on page 1645, Park netural safety switch, located on the top rear of the transmission (auto) where the shift cable connects.
try looking around the top of the gear box at the rear where the linkages are, should be there if i remember correctly.
