In Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Word, you can do it in several ways. First either select the text you want to align, or even just have the cursor in it.

Using key commands you can press and hold the CTRL key and then press one other letter as follows:

Ctrl L for Left Align.

Ctrl E for Centre Align.

Ctrl R for Right Align.

Ctrl J for Justified text.

You can also align by going to the Format menu, then to the Paragraph option and under Indents and Spacing you will find the options for different alignments.
