I made a ticket from Varanasi to Guwahati by AC II Tier. It was an wait list ticket. I informed the matter to the railway who informed me that if your position is confirmed i.e you get a confirmed birth then railway would issue a fresh duplicate ticket at a minimal cost. Again after some day but before the date of journey I as I met an accident I could not proceed as desired from Varanasi to Guwahati. My question is how can I get the refund of my ticket.
pto means 1/3 ticket rate of whatever real ticket cost. example if delhi to mumbai ticket fare is 1,000/- then you have to pay Rs 250/- if you have PTO. only for Railway Employee
