I think the following can help you:

1.Import PDF Files

Click "Add File" or "Add Folder" from the top of the software interface to select and import the PDF files you want to combine together. Or you can also directly drag and drop all your source PDF documents into the program after launching it. All the successfully imported PDF files will be listed in the file list with the information, like file name, size, etc.

2.Set Output Destination (Optional)

If you want to save the combined PDF document in a specified file folder on your Mac, then you can click "Browse" to define an output directory to replace the default one.

3.Start PDF Combination

At last, you only need to give a click on the "Start" button which located at the lower-right corner of the software interface to merge PDF documents on Mac. Before it starts PDF combination, a pop-up window like below showed will ask you to enter an output file name in the text box. Just name the final PDF file as you prefer, and then click "OK" to proceed with PDF combination. Finished!

.zip or any compressed file type. Unless you mean combine the individual pictures into one picture in which case any photo editing program would work.

Can you retrieve a JPEG file out of a HTML file?

A .jpeg file is not in an HTML file. It is a separate file that is called from the HTML file to display on the browser. You can get the URL of the jpeg file from the HTML file and if the graphic is still there, the file can be obtained from its location. If you are on the actual web page that displays the image, you can usually right click on the image and select 'Save As' and save the file. Some web sites have their images protected to prevent you from saving their photos onto your harddrive.

What kind of files are normally used as JPEG?

The JPEG/EXIF file format is optimized for storing photographs like images. It uses lossy compression, RGB, 8 bit per channel, no support for transparency or multiple images, 2D images support. The files are small and as long as the compression is not too great the image quality is almost identical to the original. JPEG images are very common, being supported virtually by every imaging device and image processing software.
