To be simple, you can't. You can convert the plug but then the appliance won't work and possibly start a fire. Electricians are not trained as heart surgeons but playing with something you don't understand is like taking your life in your own hands.....pkazsr
220 volt heater on 110 volts
The load is a resistive load and as such it is governed by Ohm's law. Current is directly proportional to the voltage and inversely proportional to the resistance. As the voltage goes down so does the current. 2200 watt heater at 220 volts = 10 amps. R = E/I = 220/10 = 22 ohms of resistance in the heater. Now take the 2200 watt heater and using the same formula and at 110 volts. I = E/R, Amps = Volts / Resistance. 110/22 = 5 amps. As you can see ohm's law holds true, the current is inversely proportional to the resistance and as the voltage goes down so does the current. To answer the question, yes a 220 volt heater will run on a 110 volt circuit but at a reduced wattage. W = A x V = 5 x 110 = 550 watts instead of 2200 watts at 220 volts.
Not much actually,a Mobile Home water Heater has the water connections going into the side where as a Regular Water Heater has the connections at the top. So if you have enough room above a mobile home water heater you can install a regular water heater no problem. However a lot of mobile homes do not have room above the water heater so your forced to use a Mobile Home water heater instead. Which usually costs about a hundred more than a regular one.
The main feature of an efficient electric heater is, that is used up to 30% less engery than a conventional electric heater. This reduces the cost of the heater.
A GFCI receptacle can pass it's "protection" to other outlets wired from it. If the GFCI trips, all outlets wired from it will "trip" also. A GFCI tripping will not necessarily trip the circuit breaker in the service panel.
It would be very difficult to convert a solid heater into a gas.
Electric rating of 1Kw
It converts electric energy to thermal energy
You don't, electric water heaters are not meant to be converted.
NO! No outlets may be installed above a baseboard heater, no matter how high, it's against code. (also dangerous for any electrical cord from that outlet that could rest against the hot heater) Good luck Ed

The adjective is electric, because it is describing the heater.
It does if it has a rear heater. It will be back near where the heater outlets are.
