If it's prohibited to have pets, read the exact rule and look for loop-holes before you try to start convincing your Landlord of anything.
If you've looked through it up, down, backwards, forwards and found no loop-holes, I suggest you make up or find an exceptionally good reason for having that pet hamster.
I've heard things like "scientific experiment to test if a pet can live as long as humans..."
If your Landlord's a stubborn fella, you could always hide it? No?
Tell him how much you value the rules, but that you're feeling a bit depressed, and start babbling about childhood issues and your parents flushing your pet fish...
Just kidding.
The important part is to find that "click" reason that convinces your Landlord that he shouldn't let you, but that it is important to bend the rules just this one time.
It's very hard to convince a Landlord (sleezeballs) to let you keep a pet, but making him realize that the hamster is so important to you, you would die without it could work.
It's all about knowing exactly what to say!
find a different pet that your dad will let you have
Bring it to a pet shop and give them the hamster then ask if they will let you trade for a new baby hamster and then when you get it you will have to pet the hamster every day that way it dont become wild and try to bite you.
1. pester them 2. research it. 3. ask them if you can start with something smaller: fish or hamster maybe 4. research the new pet. 5. did it work???
TRuthfully, no. I got my hamster from a pet store, been there for all her life(9 weeks until I bought her) and she is very timid, and easily frightened. My friend Sarah bought her hamster from a flea market, and her hamster isn't scared of anything. And if your hamster is pregnant, the pet store will not let you return it.
Ask the landlord if you can get pet because a neighbor got pets, and hold a good argument.
Yes and you should let your pet mouse go into the kitchen for a walk. The landlord would like that.
No where
when you get a hamster of the pet they give u a small little box to travel home with. with the hamster in it you then put the box inside the cage and let her climb out when she has got used to her cage and climbs in to her bed gently take the box out and let him/her get used to the cage and go to sleep.
The pet store, of course!
If it doesn't get better in a few days, I would take it to a pet doctor and let him give the hamster medicine.
Horrid Henry's pet hamster's name is Fang.
I had the exact same problem and i was able to get my mom and dad to let me get a hamster... this is what i did: 1. show them you are responsable inof to have a hamster 2. ask them why you can't get a pet and why they don't want one in the house 3. get a book about hamsters check on the internet about it and tell them what you learned and cool facts aabout hamsters then they might think you are responsible inof and change there mind and let you have one. thanx and i hope it works out for you! :)
