On the Google home page double click the search box to display the drop down of past search terms. Scroll to the term you want to delete, hover over it with the mouse (don't click) until it is highlighted. Press 'Delete' on the keyboard.

You can delete one website only in Chrome's history. You can mark that webpage and then delete it.
I'm not sure for Internet explorer but mozilla firefox on the left corner there is a tab that says history click on it and click show all history than find the page you want to delete and right click it it either says forget this website or delete this page on Google chrome press ctrl-h then it only says delete history for this day click on it and it will delete all the pages you went on that day
