You can delete Google off your home page by either setting your homepage to about:home, about:blank or any of your other favorite websites by going to Tools -> Options -> General -> Then typing your URL into the Home Page Text Box on firefox. If you need help on IE7 well, I'm sorry but I don't use IE7.
