General way is selecting menu File -> Display Duplicates to list out all duplicated tracks, and remove them from iTunes, BUT this will not delete the file actually.
To delete the files as well as removing them from iTunes library, you need to do it manually or use other apps like iTunes Duplicates Cleaner.
Can you find those duplicate files? If you can find them then you can delete them. If you need a tool who can help you to find those files, you can go to cisdem and click DuplicateFinder. This application will help you.

In the mac store, there are many free or paid software to help finding duplicate files, include duplicate photos, such as photo sweeper, cisdem duplicate finder for mac, etc. All of them can find duplicate photos well. well you music isn't supposed to move around so yes they are viruses and delete them as soon as you can.
Ether find away to delete all the files one by one, or beat your computer with an axe.
There is a Delete all files thing in options. took me a bit to find it too.
if you have windows media player then go to files under the opal part of the menu bar the right click the flie then find delete then click it
In the Recycle Bin... Unless you delete the files on the bin, Of course, its Permanently deleted.. You can never find it again... But if you just delete it, (that means you dont delete it in the recycle bin) You can find it there... GET it?
plug the usb cable into the unit. windows will detect it as an external storage device. click on it in windows explorer and it will list all files on the device. find the files you want to delete, highlight them and hit delete , just like you would to delete any files from a hard drive or other storage.
